The Latine Education Advisory Council is a council that advises Denver Public Schools on matters related to changing and improving public school educational experiences for all Latine/Hispanic students by dismantling oppressive structures and systems, increasing family and community engagement, and increasing the number of Hispanic/Latine high school graduates who succeed in post-secondary academic, professional or vocational education for the benefit of the Latine community.

The DPS Latine Education Advisory Council Scholarship supports Latine students in Denver Public Schools who are pursuing higher education. This scholarship is designed to uplift and invest in students who have demonstrated resilience, leadership, and commitment to their communities. If you're a DPS senior who identifies as Latine, we encourage you to apply!

For community members attending in-person and online, please respect the following norms: 

• Be respectful of the conversations happening .

• Currently there is no allotted time for community members to speak out. Please be mindful and refrain from speaking out. During subcommittee work time respect our members' work time and due to space constraints please limit moving from your space. If you joining us virtually, you will be moved to a separate breakout room during subcommittee work time because we also have LEAC members joining us via Zoom.
