8th Grade Resiliency Survey

ScholarCentric by Intellispark is a tool designed to assess students' resilience in various aspects of their academic and personal lives. The assessment focuses on six key resiliency skills:

  1. Valuing Education: This measures how much a student values the importance of education in their life and future.

  2. Academic Confidence: It gauges a student's belief in their academic abilities and potential for success.

  3. Connectedness: This evaluates a student's sense of belonging and connection to their school, peers, and community.

  4. Stress Management: This assesses how well students handle academic and personal stress.

  5. Health and Well-being: This focuses on a student's physical and mental health, which directly influences their academic success.

  6. Intrinsic Motivation: It measures a student's internal drive to succeed and engage with learning.

The Academic Risk Index® is a proprietary feature within ScholarCentric that analyzes these factors to identify students who might need additional support, often before they show obvious signs of struggle. This early identification allows for timely interventions to improve student outcomes.
