Unified Improvement Plan (UIP) 2024-2025
Schools can improve student learning and system effectiveness by engaging in a cycle of continuous improvement to manage their performance. The UIP template is designed to support schools in their performance management efforts. The Education Accountability Act of 2009 requires that each Colorado school create an annual improvement plan. Data Targets
Early literacy scores for Kinder-3rd graders will improve from 46% proficient to 66% on
READ Act Assessments.The Median Growth Percentile for CMAS literacy will grow from 36 to 50. Students scoring Met /Exceed will grow from 26% to 43%.
The Median Growth Percentile for CMAS math will grow from 46 to 50. Students scoring Met /Exceed will grow from 18% to 35%.
English proficiency for MLLs as measured by the ACCESS assessment will improve from a Median Growth Percentile of 42 to 50.
Improvement Strategy #1
Implementation of Professional Learning Communities through better utilization of our school schedule and school-directed time to focus on teacher professional learning.
Action Steps
Instructional Leadership Team (ILT) backwards plans Professional Development based on identified needs and UlP goals.
Intentional use of coaching cycles to support and reinforce PLC learning.
Improvement Strategy #2
Improving Data Driven Instructional practices by creating clearer systems for data collection and analysis school-wide.
Action Steps
Creation of a school-wide assessment calendar that includes both summative and formative assessments.
Instructional Leadership Team (ILT)
creates a clear data analysis protocol and rolls it out with the use of Team
Leads.Teacher teams meet weekly to analyze data and adjust instruction accordingly.
