Touch-A-Truck Event

Join us in the North Parking lot on Saturday, April 5 for a hands-on event sponsored by Denver Police. Students will have the opportunity to explore emergency service vehicles like first responder vehicles, heavy equipment vehicles, show cars, Mounted Patrol Horses and more. There will be free pizza, drinks and other treats available. In addition, the Denver Museum of Nature and Science Curiosity Cruiser will be present! Kids in attendance will receive a free admission ticket for the Denver Zoo, while supplies last. See the flyer for more details.

GrowHaus Food Boxes

Please keep an eye out for more communication about GrowHaus, a food service partner that brings boxes of fresh, organic produce to Denver residents. Interested? GrowHaus will be at Swansea next week to sign parents up for FREE produce boxes. More details coming soon!

  • These ongoing classes focus on healthy eating, meal planning, and nutritional well-being for families.

Unlock the Power of Conversation with LENA March 11– May 20, 10:00 - 11:30 a.m. and end of year celebration on May 27

  • Did you know that talking with young children from birth can have a huge impact on their development? LENA is a free program designed to help families and caregivers understand the importance of early conversations.

  • Over the course of 10 weekly sessions, participants receive guidance, tips, and strategies to increase meaningful interactions through talking and reading. Plus, you'll connect with a community of others eager to learn and support their little ones' growth

Citizenship Interview Preparation Classes at the Central Community Hub

  • Are you a Denver resident planning to apply for U.S. citizenship? The Central Community Hub at Swansea Elementary School is offering free Citizenship Interview Preparation Classes every Wednesday from April 2nd to April 23rd from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Open to DPS parents and Denver residents, this four-week class will help you prepare for the interview and test.
