Based on research, at Edison Elementary we are committed to using homework to support:

• Additional practice of skills taught in the classroom

• Reading practice

• Research into more in-depth concepts

Students are responsible to complete homework as required by their teacher.

Teachers may choose to use a “Friday Fun” time as a privilege for students who have completed homework, however, this time shall not be longer than 20 minutes and educational games/activities are recommended during this time.
